I am so very, very sorry. Losing a foal is truly devastating. Losing such a special foal is worse.

It is always hard to loose a foal, especially when it is your only one of the year. Thoughts and Prayers Siegi.

Loose piece of PLASTIC in a temporary stall at the Keuring? I am sorry but I just cannot add to the chorus of sympathy. How in the hell did a big enough piece of plastic to kill a foal get into a stall at a show and who was responsible for baby proofing the stall? Maybe this seems callous but this was so preventable. Sorry for the loss Siegi but this is insane.

This is terrible news. My thoughts are with you and the filly's dam. I know it was terrible few days for my mare when she lost her colt years ago.

Very , very sorry Siegi B.
I will provide you with a poem from Hyperion Stud's newsletter :
Somewhere in times own space
There must be some sweet pastured place
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow
Some paradise where horses go
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again - Stanley Harrison

What sad news. It is so hard to lose a horse and foals and the loss of a foal even harder. We add our sympathy to the rest
