Greenwood Farm HT Check In Thread
Okay.
So I am excited to go to Greenwood Farm's fall HT even if it is to watch my friend show my pony in their first HT together. He has been out on lease to a different friend in Kansas City for the Summer but now is back in Oklahoma with my friend Fran for the fall/winter/spring until I get done having the kiddo and get clearance to ride again. I am bummed about not getting to ride but I will be having lots of fun braiding and primping him up!
Anyone else going to be there????

Yeppers,
Spanky is showing in Novice w/ Fran. She is hoping that if it goes well to move up to Training on him at Texas Rose. I don't know if I will be able to make that show as I will be getting within about 6 weeks of popping out the kid and Hubby isn't that fond of me being 5 hours away. LOL.
I sold the gray horse to Alex who has since re-sold him. I think he will be at Greenwood showing, but I don't know for sure.
I gots myself a fancy young grey Oldenburg that I am ready to get started next year and tear it up with. Little brat is lucky that I cannot ride or he would be getting started right now!

Cyriz and I will be there. It will be his 2nd event after a 4 1/2 hiatus in the dressage ring. He'll be doing OT with Mike. If all goes well, then back to Prelim.

I do indeed. She is an eternal optimist with the horses and really has done a great job with my guy who can be a bit of a head case.
BTW, you and Dante are quite the local celebrities...its really nice to see a San Antonian at the upper levels.

Wow, that's a wonderful thing to hear, thank you so much! I was just going to ask if you'd please say hi to her for me; she put me on the correct path to begin with and I owe her immensely for starting me off right. Such a great person! Glad to see she has such wonderful riders working with her.

Anyone know Kristi Radosevich?
I believe she's from Wy., but I saw she's entered at Greenwood (in Inter.). Anyway, if anyone knows her I'd like to get a msg. to her, and once again I'm going out of town and will miss Greenwood

I know! I'm going to have to start paying closer attention to the dates. Would love to see Cy go!

Toadie,
My horse should be stabled fairly close to her and one of my friends is getting coached by her trainer, so I could pass something along.

Just wanted to get the word out that Christie is still in need of volunteers for both Saturday and Sunday!!!! Stadium and Dressage ring stewards, parking stewards and other assorted spots still open.
Please, please, please - volunteer, sign up your hubs or daughter or son or parents or best friend to volunteer, find some time. This is a great event that cannot run as smoothly without YOUR help! There are jobs where you can sit in the shade, there are jobs where you can be close to the action. Support your local eventing scene with a few hours of your time - gifts, food and raffle tickets for prizes are a given.
Email Christie at Greenwoodfarminc@aol.com or PM me for her cell #.
There's always more to learn if you're willing.

I wish I could come, even if to just volunteer (I did that last time!), but Austin City Limits music festival is that weekend. Dang it! Maybe next year.....I love Greenwood! Everyone have a blast, and kick on!
