    Smile First HT!!!

I did my first HT at Difficult Run a few weeks ago. After a FABULOUS dressage test (27.5!) I was in 2nd place. Going into XC I was still in second and we rocked the first part of the course. Very unfortunately I got jumped out of the tack at fence 10 and ended up eating dirt

Here is an album of some photos I bought including the digger shots

BUT My horse was a rockstar and I have a lot of positives to take away from this.

And redemption was mine 3 weeks later at a local, unrecognized HT when I came in 2nd finishing on my dressage score of a 29!

I'm just really proud of my guy and myself and had to share Thanks for looking/reading!

    Way to go, Samantha37!!!

Not BTW but Difficult Run novice was my first HT back in 1985 (86?) and I was just wondering whether they still run an event there. It's a blast from the past.

You look so good and are an inspiration.
Shut up! You look fine! --Judybigredpony

And I love that during the entire fall sequence, you're still looking straight ahead!!

So glad you're out there having fun with him....it's been a long road!! Kudos.

    Aww thanks gr8ful and BST!

It has been a SERIOUSLY long road with this horse. First he had bilateral hind suspensory surgery, then he had his hocks fused with ethyl alcohol, then he went through a rearing phase and had to go to a naughty horse trainer (shout out to Ishi!!). I FINALLY have a horse to show!!! So exciting

Oh, I hope you didn't have too much trouble with that naughty horse trainer! Is she really that naughty?

    JK Sam. Nice pics!
