HAPPY UPDATE!!!
Haha, good eye ACMEventing!!! lol thanks!
And thank you to everyone for your kind words and good ppe vibes!!!
Great news - Henry passed his ppe and is HOME!!!
He was an absolute gentleman for the poking and proding, and later walked right on my unfamiliar trailer as I loaded him in the dark on the side of the road. Gotta love OTTBs!!!
He's settling in and meeting his new neighbor who will likely be a paddock mate.
Here are a few pics from today:

and being adorable: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/...type=1&theater
I'm really excited about him - just really have a great feeling. Thanks again!!!!

Congrats, he is beautiful Love his form over that jump, really stretching through his back with his knees tight even for a little jump. I can't believe he's only 2 weeks off the track!

Fantastic! Congratulations - you look great on him, and I hope we get tons of updates as you build a partnership together.
I know Heinz57 will join me in welcoming you to the Pleasant Colony descendent crowd (you'll find that shoulder looks familiar as you see more!), and also.... that last pick made me SOL! (Snort out loud.)
My horse is a dressage diva so I don't have to be.

Wow, what a nice young prospect! I'm extremely jealous! Do you mind if I ask how you found him? (In general terms, no names necessary). I take it you have a connection with someone at the track.

I was wondering the same thing! He's stunning and looks like he has a great temperament. I hope I'll be in the market for an OTTB this spring, would love to hear how you found such a great one!

I've got a Mizzen Mast daughter and she is just beyond wonderful! Like your boy, she settled right into work after retiring from the track. She's turning into an amazing jumper! Quiet, quiet, quiet and with a great work ethic.
Good luck to both of you.

Thank you all for the well wishes and congratulations! I feel so lucky!!
Henry was great for his first day at home yesterday....and even jumped his first ditch while I was hacking him around!!: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/...type=1&theater
Regarding how we found him - Kendal Lehari and her mom Gwen have good contacts at woodbine from whom they have been buying OTTBs for many years. Here is Kendal's website: http://www.kendalleharieventing.com/
Thank you again!!!
