    Post WEF Leases

Due to a new career venture I am unable to commit to WEF for a long period of time, and I remembered a thread from last year with someone mentioning weekly and monthly leases. Just wondering if anyone here has done this before and your experiences with it.

I'd be looking for either a 3'ft Adult hunter or a Low Adult Jumpers horse.

    TIA

This type of horse leases in the neighborhood of $1000/week. That is only the lease fee; all other expenses are additional. If you want a really competitive horse (particularly in the hunters), I'd expect to pay more. I have leased horses to show at WEF and had great experiences!

I think someone posted this link in last year's thread: http://www.castlewoodfarmsales.com/WEF_Leases.html

Sounds like a good option for you!

This is amazing! I may never show at WEF in my life, but to know an opportunity like this exists, to be able to compete at such a prestigious (to ME) show without owning my own horse and shipping everything out from the West Coast, it's kind of neat.

I believe Palm Beach Riding Academy also does weekly leases.
