G. Ramiro Z sons in US?
wondering if anyone's interested in breeding their mares to a G. Ramiro z x Darco stallion in the US? Approved zangersheide, similar bloodlines to Magic Darco (who's sired by Darco out of Ramiro dam). Too related to my mares but I do love to play hypo-mating...

Does Z approval for a stallion carry over for any of the registries operating in NA?
IOW, how would one register a foal by said stallion? And - my mantra these days - with a registry that DNA tests every foal for parentage verification?

The stallion Noteworthy stood at my farm this season. He is Ramiro x Bergerac x Ramiro. Lovely stallion. He was competed as a dressage horse by his original owner but his pedigree is Jumper.

Z is an Erkend Studbook for the KWPN, so foals from a mare of at least Reg A would receive Reg A papers.
That's my understanding. The KWPN-NA office is always very helpful with a quick call to confirm this.

The Z approved stallion registry carries over to BWP-NA- that I've confirmed.
I don't know about the other registries enough to give an opinion. I always get written confirmation from a registrar of which ever verband when I have questions cuz we've all had the experience where a seller will say some 10 yr old mix is registerable in some fancy foal book when that's not the case at all.

I haven't finalized any sales documents, so I'd be jumping the gun releasing his name at this point.
his damsire is Darco and her dam of dam line is thru Ibraham. I hope that helps.
btw: the babies on your website are niiiiiiiice.

we laugh that G. Ramiro Z was the universal donor- when I put his name in the sire search field on horsetelex, the website revolts with "search returns too many horses to list. please modify search terms."
