Wise Dan
I thought he looked fabulous in the Woodbine Mile. Looks like he will head to the Breeders Cup...

I thought that this would garner some comments as he is what people allegedly want..a horse that has stayed in racing beyond his 3 year old year. Who seems to be improving and is a homebred. I for one, am looking forward to his next reace.

Well, he's a favorite of mine, that's for sure.

Well, he IS a gelding, so retiring him at 3 to the breeding shed isn't really an option.
Having said that - I also am a fan!

Will be interesting to see where they go with him. The BC Mile seems like the obvious choice, but as a G1 winner over 9f on dirt, and given the weakness of the older horse and 3yo divisions this year, the BC Classic might be worth a roll of the dice.

I realize he has no value as a breeding animal, but gelding him did not make him stay sound, or be versitale etc. I have always been a fan of the older geldings in racing such as Forego, Kelso etc. He seems to me to be getting better as he goes along..I intend to enjoy his races for as long as he is around.
