I got a chuckle at the drive when they made fun of the dressage people not wanting the carriages drivers in their area. I didn't hear about any dressage horses running away or injured riders but I did see many cart horses that were not undercontrol, run aways, injuries and drivers that were doing very unsafe things.

I wish I had been able to stick around to meet more people. China Doll, what barn were you in/ what were you driving?

I'm curious China Doll, without naming names or pointing fingers- if you could elaborate about the things you saw that you took issue with (maybe in another thread) it might help other people to learn/ avoid doing the same thing.

Barn 14 we had a small group with black horse, buckskin horse and a pinto mini. My black horse was recovering from an injury so we just took a lesson and did the CAA certification so we were not driving much.

I tried to be as generic as possible and not name and of the kinds of turnouts.

I was in barn 18 with a "Thelwellian" pinto Shetland, but was only able to come out on Friday and Saturday (my husband ended up heading out of the country on a last-minute business trip). I had a friend "groom" for me on Friday and my son came out to enjoy the day with me Saturday. You can bet we'll be back next year

These were posted on Facebook, over 600 photos this person took at there. I assume it's okay to post them here since they are public on FB.
