JER, I see you are joining our little group in SP! I know you will love it. JMP is next to Mark Weissbecker, who is next to Bobby Costello (who I train with).
We will practically be neighbors!
My horses ARE your neighbours! They've been there for several years.
But me, that's another story. I'm usually thousands of miles away, although right now I'm only 500 miles out. I try to visit when I can but I also try not to interfere with the training of my horses as I would like them to be successful.
At my most-often home, you can find me muddling around on a 14hh pony who bucks a lot. That's the truth about me: I ride a fat little pony.
Lord Helpus, please do stop by JMP and say hello and see the new guy -- maybe I'll even manage to be there that day.
Now, for the all-important first-ride update on the horse.
Glenbaer and JMP lunged him, he was good and responsive, then Glenbaer got on for some w/t/c, which he did very nicely. He also hacked out around the farm tout seul and was fine with everything. Glenbaer said he has the 'nicest, softest, ground-covering canter.'
All good news. (He sounds a lot like Danny, actually. )
