Question Accident/Catastrophic Insurance for "leased" dog

Is it possible to purchase accident-only or some sort of catastrophic insurance for a dog? Say this dog does not live with you full time but you are transporting and handling it in competitions.

In the horse world, a leasee can purchase insurance to cover accidents on a horse she does not own outright. Does this exist in the dog world?

Likely does! Can you ask some handlers what they do for insurance? Owners insurance may cover this even if the dog is in your posession.
