    Default Proudinsky xx (ger)

Any thoughts on this thoroughbred? Stud fee is only $2,000. At 17 hands with 25 starts under his girth on turf he could be an interesting cross for our american mares. Only one line to Northern Dancer.

His sire Silvano xx is also the father of Romanoff xx.

Proudinsky's xx maternal half-brother is the Trakehner approved Proudance xx.

Proudinsky is also linebred(?), *hope thats the word* to the mare Kaiserwürde xx. The daughter line of 5-h through Kaiserwürde xx produced: Kreuzritter xx, Konigsstuhl xx, Kronenkranich xx, and Kronprinz xx.

Neat find! I think Windwurf shows up in sporthorse pedigrees too?

Plus he raced till 8 on all kinds of surfaces.

(edited--the surface he seemed to love was turf-- but he seemd to be able to travel all over to different tracks and win.)

I like Romanoff a bit more. Looking to see if any frozen of him is available in the US.

Definitely not the type of TB I'd expect to see standing in La. I'd be surprised if he stays there long, and I'd love for a sport horse breeder to get ahold of him.
