A baby being born that is loved and wanted is a good thing. If anyone doesn't like it, then they can shut up and mind their own business. I can't believe the things friends and relatives will say or ask that are none of their business. I also can't believe the snoopy questions that acquaintances or strangers will ask either, and expect an answer.

You don't owe any explanation to anyone, and I hope that people back off and realize that.

My sister stopped telling my Mom after the 4th because she got tired of the negativity - You're what? Again?. I think my Mom stopped asking after the 8th because it just drove her too crazy. They are currently at 10.

Here's what I would recommend:

Go to the toy store and buy a toy oven, the kind of thing you'd put in a dollhouse and then make a dough ball with white bread and put it in the oven. Send this to the future grandparents on both sides.
