Uh, you'd better sign up, Eleanor. We (it takes 2 warmbloods to be your "elf") have already gotten chocosanta's permission to be your elf.
Is all your info the same as on your signup last year? Like the address, and mailing issues, and the sizes of those meese?
Ok now we warmbloods aren't signing up to get gifts, just to be Eleanor's "elf" this year. So if you don't sign up, Eleanor, we warmbloods are gonna look uh dumb. And you should know that warmbloods are not dumb bloods.

What a great poem to kick off this year's hints and teases!
PS Plaid is awesome on horses!

Personally I have done $20 and $30. $30 was a lot easier for me. $20 was really hard for to feel I got a gift and some extras. I usually add a pre-read horse book on top for my recipient as books should be shared.
That's just my experience. I wonder what others have to say. I have had some amazing secret santas and really enjoyed it.

Well isn't this nice. I have to say that I have had some of the best degrinchers. I know the real name of the person that did it last year but not her Coth name. She went way over board.
So I have signed up and will have to go easy or I will spend over the limit before it even gets to the end of Oct.
Are you going to cowboy up or lie there and BLEED?

Violets are blue,
Now to find something,
For you in that hue.
"OK we have the PM, so we're off. Unlike the time when we thought about doing the horse treat secret santa, this time all our shopping is gonna be on line. Although it was funny last year when we went to the grocery store wearing "service horse" vests to buy horse treats, well we had to sample them, and while the store manager was chasing me around in the carrot and banana department, big boy was in the beer cooler quaffing beers. I still cannot believe that the store manager fell for that "this is my hoof pick" when he caught you with the church key." ( Says WB #2.)
"Well, I did have to go piaffe behind the store after drinking 2- 12 packs of imported beer, haha. Shopping on line probably won't be as exciting as that, but we'll not have to run from irate grocery store clerks either." Says WB #1
off to shop till we drop!

Haha, not close! And we don't want to go to Canada, as we are branded "premium." Those folks eat premium.
We could stand for some of that cooler weather, however. It's 100% humidity here and in the 90s.
Fortunately cyber-shopping can be done in front of our stall fans.
We figured that Eleanor did not need to be grinched a 4th time, and that Chocosanta, uh, Chocomare, did not need the aggravation of having to degrinch.
So we wanted to do something nice this year. Since we were banned from the grocery store last year when we wanted to participate on the treats thread.
Except Eleanor's horses she says now, have enough blankets. So we have to find something else in plaid for them. Off to search cyberspace. Oh wait, wait, hey you, _______(the other wb, #1), what are you doing on that mare porn site? Quit looking at those mares! (says WB #2 to WB #1, or maybe we should say elf #2 to elf #1).

I'm curious, when will we be matched up? Are you just kind of matching the best fit as you go, or will there be a specific day that we'll know?

Well, we jumped the gun, because we're warmbloods and we can, uh no well because Eleanor posted that she might not play this year, and we'd asked for her and......well we're warmbloods so we aren't waiting!
I think, although we've not played before, that after everyone signs up, Chocomare assigns people by their monetary amt? Isn't that right?
Who cares? We have our owner's debit/credit cards and new computer and we don't care. We will shop.
And yes, Eleanor, yesterday we checked out Scottish breakfast teas on line. We're warmbloods. We don't wait around after Chocomare gave us the info from last year. We do have to reorganize on the plaid though. Baker is the only plaid we wear.

Baker is a good plaid. Kensington has some great plaid as well.
Sometime I wish Ury was 13.2hh and not 17.3hh, because I see these cute little pony outfits. It is like walking through a kids clothing area to get to the ladies stuff. You see the cuties little outfits even tho you don't have any need for them.
