Don't worry, I don't rhyme either. Not all elves are equipped with the rhyming gene! Besides, those warmbloods set some high standards. Don't they know that gift giving is an elf's job?

Wait till Eleanor gets her 2nd package. She's gonna flip! Grinched for 3 yrs, and now she's going to make up for all 3 of those years this year. We are on pins and needles because we worry that the package will get hung up in customs. Our postwoman, who knows both of us well, she's been our postwoman for almost 5 yrs, promised us that our 2nd package would not get lost.
We were so impressed with the ornament made by Starhouse and the sun catcher made by eventgroupie2 (who was recovering from knee surgery but still did all that work for us) that we, well, we cannot say what we did, as we are in witness protection. But we hope that ELeanor will get that package soon, so that she can show pix of the 2 items to all of you.
We will be back to rhyming when our package gets delivered. Meanwhile, Eleeanor should be drinking a couple of gallons of scottish breakfast tea each day from package #1.
Warmbloods can be elves too. If they can stay awake long enough and keep their concentration. (We got a 2nd thumbs down on coth. We do not like the new format!)

In Santa's workshop far away,
Ten little elves work night and day.
This little elf makes candy canes,
This little elf builds streamlined trains,
This little elf dips chocolate drops,
This little elf makes lollipops,
This little elf makes great board games,
This little elf gives dolls their names,
This little elf packs each jack-in-the-box,
This little elf sews dolly socks,
This little elf wraps exciting books,
This little elf checks twice and looks,
As Santa packs them in his sleigh,
Ready for you on Christmas Day.

There once was a Tiffany01,
Whose SS shopping had just begun!
I sent her a note,
and the posts that she wrote
Have pointed me to gifts that'll be fun.
AlterClaus knows just what to bring
For Tiffany and her Beautiful thing
A long posting history
Removed some of the mystery
I won't say what - that would be telling!

Uh oh! I hope I didn't say too much in mine! I wanted to give someone a good frame to go on so they wouldn't be lost in my lack of posting.
Ah well.

Nope, this is definitely a highlight for me.
I never play horseshoes cause Mother taught us not to throw our clothes around.

If anyone would like to send a little thank you to our Co-Chief Elves send me a PM as I have the address.
Hopefully I get my giftee info soon after the Chief Elves organize something. Have total faith in them.

Hi Ho, Hi Ho...it's off to shop I go....
...after I learn a bit more about my giftee this year. I'll have to work on the rhyming thing, but in the meantime, Kathy R, can you tell me what your three favorite colors are, do you have pierced ears, are you or your horse allergic to any foods, do you prefer white or red wine, do you show, and do you like plaid?
Disclaimer: The requests listed may or may not pertain to my holiday shopping.

To The Max! Let the shopping begin!
Dear To The Max,
Have no fear!
Your Secret Santa is here!
I won't be sending you any beer
The lists are made,
The bills are paid,
The stockings are laid
I'll send you a message,
From the elves in the village,
They'll try not to pillage.

Got mine! Now just to get back into the holiday spirit so I can start coming up with ideas.
(Just not feeling very elf-y this week. We didn't get hit too badly by the weather or anything, so not sure why I'm all uninspired. I love the winter holidays!)
