I have to thank my SS Big Red OTTB for her thoughtful gifts! Bay, Chestnut, and Black aromatic soaps from Foaling Around, horse and people cookies, a framed print of a Chincoteague Pony, and best of all a beautiful pendant necklace with a photo of my dear black stallion Paddy who left us in 2011 I was touched beyond words when I realized who it was, as the horses I mentioned and pictures I emailed were only the 3 horses I have now, all sired by Paddy.

I am very glad you like everything! After some googling I found his FB page and the photo. I agonized over whether to buy a pendant with a picture of your chestnut mare or of Paddy, but I opted for the pic of Paddy as all of your current horses link back to him. I am very glad it was a good call! (hugs)

Apollo is loving his new blankie and halter, has already devoured the cookies, and the saddle soaps are being put to good use on my bridles. I cannot thank you enough, grinanride!

Cobjockey was my Secret Santa and she did great!! Thank you so much. Sorry for the lateness of this post, I have been sleeping most of the day because of a stinking cold .

She kindly got me two bags of yummy marshmallows (chocolate peppermint and toasted flavors), a very cute ornament which is on my tree but that I'll hang on a wall after the tree comes down and the book "Finding My Distance" by Julia Wendell, which I'm sure I'll love because eventing is a favorite equine sport.
With my illness and other packages- from home- being delayed, it was turning into a bad Christmas scenario but the kindness of a stranger, now a friend, made my day much better. Thank you again .

My little one will be home the 27th so we are doing Christmas then. I did peek in the box last week though but didn't unwrap. I went desperately searching for sweets even though I think I said not to send any. . I will post on 27th and update you. Glad everybody likes their stuff. It was SO hard not to buy you "fun" bell boots. :P

I tore into my goodies this morning... I got yummy treats for the horses, dogs and us, a neat ornament and a pair of no turn bell boots which I desperately needed! I just bit into one of the chocolate chicken wings, those were cute and delicious. I forgot to take the squeezy buns to the barn when I fed tonight but will take them up when I do night check later. They will devour them, I'm sure!

Wow, dghunter! What a fabulous elf!

First of all, the timing was perfect - my box arrived on Christmas Eve, so I did not have to show much will power in waiting until Christmas morning to open my presents! And they were the first ones I opened!

Can't wait to read Casino Royale again, and I have heard The Company is great, and it was on my list to buy.

The puppies (young and old) loved their Kong balls and treats, and the peppermints are already in my barn bag, ready to bring out to be shared with humans and equine alike.

Your baked goods are so yummy - I will be sad when they are all gone (which won't be long).

I love my "box 'o relaxation" and can't wait to try Foaling Around's soaps. I recently "Liked" her on Facebook after reading about her here, but had not ordered any yet.

And last but not least, the saddle pad is absolutely beautiful! I am going to be afraid to use it, because I don't want to mess it up! I will be so jealous if you are talented enough to have done the hand-painting customization yourself! I could never do that!

Well turns out the Chief Elf herself was my elf!! I received one parcel a week or so ago which sat under my tree tempting me. But I held off to this morning (christmas day down here!).

She sent me:
-fuzzy socks ( can never have to many pairs)
-horsey dish towels
-very cute tractor supply hat
-printed copies of some of her own recipes that look insanely yummy
-an Easy Chef recipe cd
-a tea and silverware caddy -very cute

In a very random parcel that arrived yesterday that had zero clues on what it was or where it was from and very light. Lots of fun bath stuff from Lush. Me thinks a bubble bath is on the list for tonight.

oops just found a card for the Lush bath stuff! lol Apparently it's not from you Choco! It's from my best friend. lol

Thanks soo much Chocomare! You did very very well! Can't wait to start cooking/baking !

Oh I am glad... there was so much more I wanted to send (i.e., chocolate) but was afraid it wouldn't survive the long trip!

The caddy I took a chance on.... it was hand made/painted by a dear friend of mine and while it was always technically for sale, she couldn't bring herself to sell it. But she's had a rough year (hubby left her and took the kids ) and she needed to reduce her stock. She does lovely work.

Thank you so much. Your gifts brought a smile to my heart ! I love the handmade mittens. The colors are lovely. I will only wear them for special outings 'cuz I don't want to lose them ( very good at losing 1 glove from the pair ;-/ ). Oh my gosh! Love my Hudson's Bay mug in my fave stripe colors. I have matching hat and scarf. I have never seen the mug here AND filled with Truffles (yummm). The polos are lovely. Teal will look great on Lexus. Since she got hurt she has to be wrapped (can't cheat with boots).AND we will match when it gets warmer and I can wear the socks. The scarf is beautiful. The colors match the colors in the mittens. It will really dress up my winter coat. I can't wait to show it off. Hmmm I will have to pin it so I don't lose it--I am a ditz but would be heartbroken to lose the scarf or the mittens. And on top of all of thses gift Hot Chocolate variety pack and fudge !!!!! Brown Sugar fudge covered in chocolate. It sounds so rich.I am saving these for New Year's day to start off 2013 right ;-)
I can't thank you enough. You really brightened my Christmas. Even the card was special.

Yay! Glad you liked your stuff, PM! I ended up buying myself a pair of those cashmere socks as well and wore them the other day, they are TOASTY! Not sure if you've tried the nuts yet but they're addictive, so look out-- they're Virginia Diner which are among the best of the VA peanuts in my opinion.

My horses *loff* the Squeezy Buns... they're begging for them now! And I'm trying to control my portions of the yummy chocolate , thanks again and hope y'all have a happy New Year!

I'm SO sorry I haven't thanked you yet - it's been a very hellish past two weeks.

But I was so overwhelmed when I opened my packages (yep, I got the other one)! You did a wonderful job; I loved everything! The hat and cooler from Adelaide were especially cool - I've been wearing the hat to work every day

My lovely blue Roma pad is great, and I've been contemplating getting my boy's registered name on it *wink wink*

And thank you SO much for the scarves. I've been wearing them all over the place. Pretty sure my family is wondering about my sudden obsession....
