Forgive me, Giftee (who shall remain unnamed at this date), for I have sinned.
While doing last minute packing of things, ready to take off imminently to head for a family funeral tomorrow, I was nibbling chocolate, and I just realized that I wasn't nibbling MY chocolate after all. Nope, exit one of your gifts. It was good, though.
Bad DT. I will have to make another trip to the purveyor of chocolates to purchase adequate restitution.
Never fear, while your package may contain SOME secondhand gifts, I do think that already-broken-into chocolate is pushing the limits, so all of your chocolate will be pristine.

Haha - I think it's funny that you got a thumbs down for that post...it would be even funnier if it were from your giftee! And, I have done the same thing in the past, so don't feel bad.

Me too. I was bad one year I even unwraped the goodies I had done up because I was needing some chocolate. I did go and get new ones, but don't feel to bad that you are not the first to do this.
I have started shopping and been looking at things. I am going to have to do a elf for my person because I have questions and they are not covered in there info they sent.
Are you going to cowboy up or lie there and BLEED?

I'm going to be a Stelf for my giftee, and I think my own elf is also a Stelf. I'm so darn busy I wouldn't even have the time to spend on fun little rhymes, so I understand.
But my giftee is hopefully going to be a VERY happy COTHer when I'm finished shopping for them.

To my giftee:
The gifts for your horse arrived at my house today. I still need to order one more thing and I think I'll have everything for your package to ship around Dec. 1.

Oh AppendixQHLover! I'm helping your elf out this year!
I wanted to let you know that a package is winging it's way to you as we speak! It should be there early next week!
I don't have time,
to come up with more rhymes.
Your box is full of lovely smelling things,
that your elf hopes joy to you will bring.
Phew! That's hard work! Your elf may be stealth, but she is out there!

Bluebuckets!!
Oh Bluebuckets,
I usually try to be,
An undercover elf, you see.
I had to come out of stealth,
Because this elf,
Was unsuccesful through email.
So I made a new gmail,
To come online
To find,
Some answers to my questions,
So I can make some progression
On your present
To make this Christmas a grand event!
Oh Bluebuckets, what is you middle name? Also what is you horses name? Both barn and show.

Finally sitting down and getting updated on this thread! Hi Elf!!! I've never had a "visible" elf, so this is exciting! Ill try to keep up with this thread!!
I'm a stelf this year so far. My lap top is on the fritz and so I've been reading and posting from my iPhone--not so easy to make an alter on this tiny screen. But I promise I'm here and shopping and will create my alter soon!!

munchingonhay
Munchingonhay, Munchingonhay,
I sure hope that this post makes your day
This is your elf and I've taken care
To make sure that your gifts will get there
They are presently in the mail to me
And will quite soon be in the mail to thee
So do not worry, and do not fret
For as sure as you'll give, you'll also get.

There you are!!!
I am not good at rhymes, so You will have to forgive.
Almost ready to send your goody box out.
I followed your list almost, but am finding little fun things to add.
And goodies to munch as well.
I sure hope you like chocolate, Good chocolate not candy bar junk.
I will have to send the boys gift in another package as I have run out of room.
This elf does not stand on ceremony. You may open and enjoy.
Especially because I hate the food to get stale.
Everytime I go to the store I find something else.
I have gone over the limit.. Limits are bad! LOL
Probably this week, or if there is a delay with all the turkey business, Next Monday!

I was hoping maybe people could mention ideas for extras.
I tend to feel like some sort of candy is obvious. Really nice fruit is a traditional stocking stuffer too, but not really mailing-friendly.
