Default 2012 North American Stallion Test Blog

This year, we are pleased to add the official blog for the Stallion Test. We will be providing updates from time to time about the Stallion Test during the 70 day training period. We hope that this will help to provide some insight as to what is expected from the stallions during the test to help in the preparation of future stallions. The link is attached below:

We have a 4 year old GRP named Adonis, owned by Delores Seketa and managed by Dianna Orona, and one more 4 year old GRP that I am collecting the info for. I will keep you updated.

The pony stallion, Adonis, will be at the stallion testing. But, I don't know anything about the second pony stallion.

Adonis was raised and is currently managed by Fox Creek Farm. His pedigree and information can be viewed here:

    Yea for the ponies

If my BrP 2 year old pony stallion continues to look like he can keep his "jewels" hopefully he will be there in 2 years.

Well worth sending him . Harry's (Belafonte d'Avalon) rider - Rebecca Brown - commented that he had probably some of the best initial training on him of any horse she'd ever ridden. He got kudos from Jimmy Wofford at a clinic this year about how good his start has been ! Can't say enough good things about the job they do at the testing.

We gave him the year off after the testing as he was only three and figured it was the smart thing to do. We brought him out under Rebecca this spring and other than a few green baby stuff, he's been competing successfully in eventing. Harry did his first training level event last weekend and placed first. Here's a few photos of him "walking the walk"!
