    Default Short Brown Girths

I am having trouble finding a girth to go with my brown monoflap jump saddle that both comes in a size small enough to fit her (20" or 22") and that doesn't rub.

Most recently I have tried the M Toulouse girth as well as a prestige shaped girth. Before that I went through a myriad of cheaper ones that didn't work at all. My pony is very round and everything wants to slide forward and hit her in the elbows.

Wondering if anyone has any other suggestions of brands to try. I would like to keep the price under 200 if at all possible

    Thanks in advance

Ovation has come out with them this fall, and one with a belly guard. They are $175 and start at 16" and go in 4" increments. They look really nice with elastic on both ends.

You don't mention which cheaper ones you've tried so it may be that you've already tried these. On the chance you haven't, I thought I'd mention them - I've had good luck using them and they're definitely under $200

Thanks for the replies, I think I will give the Nunn Finer girth a try. I think I have seen that girth but for some reason had never seen it comes in brown.

I've got a 20" brown Wintec like the one above. I love it because I can just hose it off. Of course I'm selling my Devoucoux and planning to get black jump saddle next so am going to include the girth when I sell it.

Slightly more than you wanted to spend ($225) but these girths from Wise Equestrian are very nice.

My post on this thread references some other threads and some short brown girth options. http://www.chronofhorse.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=365949
