The reason for my not so subtle exclamation upon seeing the photos of the new 'underwear model' perfect spin on him.

I knew what was going to happen.

I saw the ad before he was adopted. Adoption fee was either $400 or $500, I think...

    Very handsome!

Yep! I know the family who got him - they just posted on their Facebook that they picked him up after leaving KY Classique yesterday. I am pysched that I know the people who got him and will get to see him progress! And he has gone to a VERY good family. I have no doubts that he will do well with them!

I do believe so! The mother and daughter both ride and Event. The daughter is currently going Novice (she won her division at KY Classique) on a cute QH and I am betting that this boy will be her eventual move-up horse.

I spoke with his racing trainer yesterday about hm. By all accounts he was sound, just slow and didn't adjust to track life. He's a lovely horse, I wish him all the best.

He certainly is gorgeous, but I seem to be the only one who noticed that he has a visible growth on the left side of his spine, right where the saddle seat would go. At first I thought it was a corner of the fence post behind him until I realized the posts were all cut off even with the top rail and saw it again in the trotting picture.

Hope it's nothing serious, because he's so handsome and young. Best of luck to his new owners.

Interesting - good eye! I didn't notice it before, but now I can't stop seeing it... I'm sure it is something they know about and will have looked at. Hopefully nothing major!

Thanks for posting the video Sanford! I loved seeing Abigail's bareback puissance video, but missed this one on YouTube. Glad to see Chant doing so well already and hear Abigail's review of their rides.

Random question as I was looking on their website for applicant requirements:

-All Thoroughbreds must have access to a stall and can not be on pasture board (some exceptions may be made depending on horse)
-Standardbreds can be placed on pasture board with access to adequate shelter

Can someone explain to me why the TB's can't be on pasture board with run in? Seems kind of ridiculous to me... I know plenty of OTTB's who are more than happy with just a run in.

Glad they're having fun! Love the video with her commentary. Looking forward to more!
