Would love to know if there are any men's 38 or 40 jackets at Farm House?

What size is that in street clothes? Why do they need to be complicated!?

    A size 10 is a 2-4 and a 12 is a 4-6 as far as I can tell...

I have a 38R Grand Prix in dark brown with very subtle tonal stripe and taupe lining. Was $550, now $100.

Received my Mattes girth and will try it later today and report on size comparison.

just saw this CWD saddle on eBay and if it is as described, basically new, the price is sure a steal (currently $2,150). Seller appears legit, with lots of good feedback, but rarely sells horse stuff. http://www.ebay.com/itm/390554478332...84.m1423.l2649

My Farmhouse coat came today! I got a black Grand Prix with tonal striping and a black paisley pattern on the inside that I love! It fits me as good as an off the rack coat can (broad shoulders and small waist is a tough combo). This was my first time ordering from Farmhouse and I'll definitely be ordering from them in the future!

It's the moment of truth ya'll...the crazy $10 coat has arrived! And it's pretty cool, in a retro-fabulous sort of way. It mostly looks like a dark olive coat, until you get close enough to appreciate the blue, yellow, pink AND purple overplaid. I kind of love it.

I also love the tag...clearly The Farmhouse's regular shoppers need to think outside the box a little more. This bad boy has been on sale for a looooooooooooong time!

There was also a nice note from Bri at The Farmhouse who helped me over the phone, saying she especially hoped I'd enjoy the green coat. Best $10 I've spent in a long time!

Hey, I think it's great! I actually have an old Pytchley that looks a little similar. From far away, it's pretty sharp.

My navy/burgundy combo came yesterday. Of course, I'm out of town and can't admire its awesomeness for myself, but my boyfriend dutifully sent me a pic. It's GORGEOUS!

    Default Mattes Girth Sizing

Well, it may be a moot point as I just checked and nearly all the $80 closeout girths are gone, but here's my sizing report. I ordered the 58 for my guy that has been going in a 56 Lettia Fleece Girth. I measured them and the Lettia is 55.5" end to end, and the Mattes is 56.5" end to end. The Lettia goes on 3 holes on each side on my short flapped saddle, and the Mattes pretty much fit exactly the same. So I would say the 58 Mattes at least runs small. I also checked the 54 Mattes I bought for my other horse and it measures just shy of 54 -- about 53.5" end to end. So not as much of a difference.

They are down to $80 now and very limited on sizes/colors, but I just ordered another one for another horse.

But I was looking around at the site and they have other stuff in the outlet, like Amerigo boots and girths, Vespucci bridles/reins, Equilibrium boots...lots of good stuff and some quite well priced. Now that I ordered what I want, I can share:

OK. I ordered the Amerigo boots and they arrived yesterday. Absolutely beautiful and a great price (for leather boots of that level). Highly recommend. I ordered mine in brown and two light coats of Ledersoft oil and they became a dark chocolate brown. Really really pretty.
