And are you saying that I can't trust that what is in the drop down menu is actually in stock?

If you go to order, it says "4-6 weeks" on the brown ones (UK3/36/41.5) versus "2-3 days" for some of the black ones. That's fine, whatever, but if you go back out to the main page it says "sizes not in stock will be billed the regular price of E350" which is not what I wanted.

I emailed but I have not yet heard from them. They also won't tell you what shipping is but I can't imagine it's more than E75 (which is about $100US)

If they won't sell them to me at the stated price, I do plan to dispute that with my CC and I have the screenshots and receipt to prove that I should only be charged $200.

What model did you get?

Regarding the sales price...I think you should be alright. I had emailed them previously and this was their response:

The price for shipping to USA is £50.00 – this sizes we have on the website are only the sale prices therefore if your size is not in stock and you want to order the boots then it would be the full price of

S2602 - £350.00
S3602 - £375.00

I interpret that to mean if it was on the site, it was at the sales price.

Also, the price on the site might include VAT which I dont believe we would pay, so if it showed as 150 on the site but your invoice was something different...that might account for the difference.

I interpreted it the same way as comingback...if it was in the drop down menu, it was "in stock", otherwise, if you had to call/email to order the size, it would be regular full price.

My barn friend received her's last week - they look so good I ordered a pair in size 9 and at that price for that quality I really didn't have to think!! Just a tip - ask the seller what width they are before you order - and keep in mind - the Grand Prixs in this model run small in the widths, for example I take an 8.5B in a normal boot but in the Grand Prixs I take a 9c - maybe try some at a tack shop before if you can...

ok, I'm chiming in! I got one of these leather halters just recently and is seems to be pretty darn good quality for the price, padded and full adjustable. For 36$ I was willing to buy sight unseen and hope for the best. The leather is supple and seems to be nice quality. The only quibble I have- which was brought to my attention before I bought- was that the black and burgundy was more of a black and brown. I thought people were being overly critical....they weren't. It's brown. Dover gets around this by mentioning the inconsistency of dying small batches blablabla....oh, well. If you want a black and brown leather halter for a great price here ya go!!!!

I will! I've heard great things about these halters. I'd love a black one for my blue roan and grey...but they don't need new halters!! This guy desperately needs one so I am excited to get it in!! I will be sure to take pictures

There's an awesome tack sale in NC that happens twice a year and you can get FABULOUS deals!! I got a $900 roping saddle for $300, and have gotten English saddles there that would cost $150-$300 new, that were in GREAT shape for only $25. it doesn't get much better than that, when you're on a lesson-program-budget!!

I got one to give as a present. It was really nice-great leather, pretty stitching, uniform, supple, etc. My only complaint is that the chicago (?) screws used to affix the nameplate were more of a copper color rather than brass. Very nice halter!
