Yesterday I had to have my Clarion of Quietude put down. I have written a memorial which is on both my blogs

I cried while writing those and really cannot say more right now.
He was with me 29 years, nearly half my life. Where did that time go?...

So sorry to hear about Clarion's passing. We are all diminished when an old Morgan leaves us. But your blog is a lovely tribute-- I'll be spending some time on it for sure. I grew up surrounded by beautiful old-school Morgans and always get a little misty-eyed when I see a good one in a happy home.

This grand old stallion has a pedigree that is rare due to the fact that every horse on the fourth generation was registered in Registry Volume 5 or earlier; that volume ends with the year 1937. Oh my, that is a name Ive known for a very long time. Never met him but was in love with that stallion since I was young. There was something magic even in his name. (hugs) and godspeed Clarion.

Wonderful tribute! I loved reading about his personality and way of moving. I am a new Morgan owner, and I'm still learning about the breed. So far I'm very impressed with how smart and sweet she is, and love the quick and comfortable walk and trot.

Keep it up with your blog, I look at it all the time. You once posted our old guy on there and my mother was simply beside herself that her boy was on the web. I often direct people to it when I want them to see how awesome Morgans should be!!!
