Default CL ad-- TB mare for sale cheap in north Georgia

This is posted in the Atlanta area ads:

    http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/grd/3229842357.html
"I need to sell my 16 year tb mare. I bought her to use as a broodmare, but my stallion didn't work out so I need to sell her. She is broke to ride, but she needs a confident rider because she likes to run. She hasn't offered to buck or rear up, she just constantly wants to go. She is a super sweet horse and doesn't cause any problems. I'm asking $150 or I'll trade for tack. She is a granddaughter of Seattle Slew, I have the information to get her registration papers, but since I didn't breed her, I never sent it in.
I can email or text pictures, 678-988-1701"

    Here's her pedigree: http://www.equineline.com/Free-5X-Pe...ator=Y&x=0&y=0
I sent the person a message asking for height, name and pics. Said the mare is 15.2 hands, registered name is Punky Dancer, and said will take pics this evening when they go out to the pasture. Does anyone possibly have room for this girl? At such a cheap price, I'd hate for her to slip through the cracks. I am absolutely full at my place and cannot take in any more mouths to feed. Based on pedigree, she's not a good candidate for breeding (whether race or sport), but might make a moderately experienced rider a good trail horse. I will happily post pictures later after I get them, to anyone who is interested. I'm willing to help haul somewhere, if need be. Anybody have room for this girl?

This mare does have a nice pedigree for sport -- Prince John up close, for one thing.

She's 16 this year, hope she gets a good home. $150 isn't much to ask -- why do people think horses are throw away items when they don't work out?

Wow. Blue Larkspur on the page. Very cool.

She is half to a couple stakes placed horses, and her dam is full to a stakes placed and half to a stakes winner. This mare has no registered TB foals herself. Her half sister Intimate Affair has produced a stakes winner.

Not a mind blowing catalog page by any stretch, but there is some blacktype not too far away.

OK, the person finally sent me some pics last night. The mare does seem to have a really kind eye. Can anyone give her an upgrade? I can still help with trailering, if need be.

(and I apologize for the third pic, they must have resized it before sending, so that's how I got it.)

The person selling her seems to be a horse dealer/trader not some kind and sweet owner with a stallion that "didn't work out." When/if someone gets her, I'd recommend a full Vet work-up.

Her dam's full brother, Randy's Ready, raced 139 times. He didn't earn much, but that's a durable horse.
