Half-ASB Schoolmaster- LL instructor deluxe! SE PA UPDATED with PIX!!
We have a bay gelding who has been our four footed teacher around here for some time, but is now underemployed. Never over used, we only offered private lessons on him- at the rate of a few per week. He is 15.3 built like a TANK, barefoot with great feet, and he is VERY handsome. He does lower level dressage, loves to jump, and jerks his knees the best, is a fabulous horse to learn lateral work on, and will only give the correct movement when asked correctly. He isn't rotten, he is just a great teacher. He hasn't hacked out in awhile, but he has gone out in company in the past.
He is looking for ONE person to be his forever person, on a free lease basis. You may take him to your home, with approved references, etc., but he can only come back home, should you not want him. He is a homebred- the last foal of my first horse- and this will always be his home, should he need it.
He is pushy- a chain shank would remind him not to be, but we do not have to use it here- you might, as you establish the ground rules- and he must live outdoors- he is claustrophobic. He comes into the barn to be cleaned up, tacked up, etc. but he doesn't like to be in a stall for any period of time. He loads and ships and clips, and he is very sweet.
The gal riding him in these pix is about 5'9"- just for reference....
