Default Anyone have this saddle pad?

I really like the look of this pad:
    http://www.bitofbritain.com/Quilted_...Pad_p/4066.htm
Does anyone have it? Opinions? If the medium fits saddles under 17.5" and the large fits saddles over 17.5", what do those of us with 17.5" saddles do?

No answer but it's a question I've always wondered. I like the pad, I have a 14.1 Haffy and a square pad makes her look even smaller. I wish they had a picture of it on a horse.

It was on TOTD recently...would have bought if they'd offered it in navy...but SOMEONE had to have bought one!

I bought it while I was at the Rolex. I went with the medium and I have a 17" saddle. It fits my saddle just fine. The Large was enormously long. I can take a pic tomorrow of it on my horse, and take measurements if you like. Just let me know.

    I got one from TOTD,
Just got it, haven't used it yet... It looks really well made and like it will hold up.
Not even have used it yet, I'd get another one. (Thanks for posting a link! now I know where to get another one!!)

I think the medium will work (okay, im guessing, since i've just looked at it..) fine for a 17.5... it might be a little bit of a tight fit.

I can repost tomorrow after I try it... my saddle is a 16

Like that a lot, but, WTH? No white? What is with saddle pad makers not offering pads in plain old WHITE. I don't want trim, I don't want ribbons, I don't want a color. I want WHITE. I MIGHT get it embroidered myself, but otherwise, I. WANT. WHITE.

I would totally buy a few of these...IN WHITE.

How much were they on TOTD? They're not real expensive on the link provided. I'm good with black, white makes my Haffy's mane and tail look yellow (they ARE, they're flaxen ) and my few spot Appy look dirty. It does look good on my grey though.

DLF, I'd love to see a picture of it on your horse even if the OP doesn't! I was thinking about getting one of the High Point semi-contoured pads but I may like this one better...

We have one that I picked up at Rolex last year.

Nice saddle pad, the large size fits the impossible to fit forward cut saddle (17.5") very nicely. One of the only saddle pads that actually work for that saddle.

It is well made and sturdy - my only wish is that it wasn't quite so sturdy. A very stiff saddle pad and bit of a pain to wash. I thought it would break in a bit but it has not. Horse doesn't mind but I am used to softer pads.

I would love pics and/or measurements! I have a big draft x, so he's not swimming in ANY saddle pads, but I'm hoping maybe it will help us both look a little more streamlined.

I'd love some measurements as well, if someone would be so kind...both top and longest (side). I have a 17.5" forward flap saddle, but I worry the large pad will be too big for my 15.1 Tb.
That's a really nice pad, and the price is very reasonable...

You know, it's the exact shape of the Ecogold secure xc pad - the ones that everybody was saying were so ugly ;-). If they fit like the EG pads, the medium is more than long enough for a 17.5" saddle with a forward flap. If you have an insanely forward flap, I'd size up. You can see a pic of it here, with a 17.5" saddle: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...3827888&type=3.

I scored one of these when they were on TOTD the other day. It actually got here in 3 days!

Anyway, I was a little worried it would not fit my 18.5 extra forward flap Stubben, but I thought I would try it. I ordered a large.

It fits PERFECTLY and I am sorry I did not buy 2 (I also was wishing for white). It seems like it will hold up pretty well. It is pretty stiff so I am wondering how exactly I am gonna get it into my top load washer when the time comes...

Oooh!! Love it! I want a royal one, and a WHITE one!

To those who have one...how thick are they? I'm not a fan of super squishy, thick pads.

    These are definitely promising!

They are not super thick squishy.

More like a stiff baby pad with double layer of quilting on the top part that goes under the saddle, single layer under your leg. Not soft though - firm if that makes any sense!

I got my TOTD pad this Saturday. I agree with the other comments that it's a thick, sturdy quilted pad. If I can find my measuring tape I can take measurements. The large is pretty big.

    I have the medium.
    The spine/top is 21 inches.
Spine to bottom of the pad is 18 inches
The most forward part of the flap to the back is 24 inches
Front bottom corner (ish) to back top is about 28 inches.

Bottom of the pad is a thick feeling 1/4 of an inch thick.
top part of the pad is thicker and feels a little more squishy.

the underpart of t he pad is flannely feeling, top part is stiffer cotton
Tag says Cotton Twill Top/Foam Fill/Flannel (ha! I was right)

Photo of the large pad with an 18" Smith-Worthington AP saddle (Danzig):

I did not have a measuring tape handy, but by my rough estimate, it's about 24 1/2" or 25" in length down the spine. I rode in this this weekend and I liked how is sat on the horse.
