Default Carl Hester Gives a Demo on Valegro - 2008

Interesting to see Carl Hester ride Valegro and talk about him 4 years ago.

    Default wonderful video!

Thanks for posting; I thought this commentary was just right; I cannot get over how open his seat is; regardless of what the horse is doing

Ah ha. Interesting. Signs of the head shaking. I wonder how that managed to improve. I wonder if it eased in the winter. I wonder if it was the bug related type.

What I love is the natural flow of it... Up foward and open, to a bend back and forth supple, to collected, to stretch, and usually up again from what I have seen in the clinics. Just a nice flow without tons of definition or correction in each.

He lets the transitions do the work! Or the figures, or whatever he is working ... LOVE IT!

We all can get really stuck into 20 bad circles instead of a few correct and move on.

I hope he comes to the states for a tour of clinics. I would kill to ride with him.

He is amazing but what I really enjoy is his sense of humor. That horse looks like he was born doing Grand Prix dressage.
