Default Jimmy Parlier Horse Transport- Feedback?

Has anyone ever used Jimmy Parlier Horse Transport before? I asked for quotes on UShip and he is one that came back with a very reasonable quote.

Looking for feedback from anyone who has used this hauler before.

    Thanks!

Jimmy WHO??? That should answer your question. Hope you did'nt pay a deposit...Is he COMMERCIALLY insured? I'll bet not.

Remember....Should he get in a wreck, YOUR liable!!! YOU hired him, he works for YOU!!!

For the safety of your horse, get a LEGAL transporter to do the haul!!!

Easy Hoofa..it is for a client of mine, who did the legwork herself. I was hoping someone on here had heard of him. I do believe he is a legit shipper, you know they do exist without all the yelling.

Jimmy and James are terrific. I've used them often and the horses always arrived in great shape. My brother in law works on their equipment.

Uship info says ZERO feedback...ZERO referances. I have run his company name in the USDOT safersys.gov website and he DOES NOT exist. This means he has NO USDOT number...without one, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get commercial insurance as REQUIRED by law when hauling other peoples property.

Personally, Id RUN.....Do as you will....I'll bet he's super cheap as he has no overhead or insurance payments to make.

    Don't say you werent warned.....

I happened to be talking to Jimmie on the phone when I spotted this thread LOL. I ask him about this and he said you aren't looking under the right name.... He also said he isn't registered with UShip so that's why no feed back there.

Jimmie has hauled numerous horses for me and people that have asked me to make shipping arrangements for. I really don't use anyone else. He only hauls in head to head trailers and the horses are ALWAYS in good shape, well cared for and happy when they arrive.

No worries at all. You will be in good hands. Always easy to reach and checks in frequently, unless he is in one area of CA where he doesn't have cell service for some reason.

I used him several years ago. Good price, service was as promised. No problems or complaints! I believe the son did the driving for our gelding.

I agree. They are local to us and also own a carriage company as well. If you google Parlier Carriages you will find their website.

I can't say enough good things about them. They have hauled everything from weanlings to off track horses and have always done a good job and been punctual.

I've used him. I followed the trailer the whole way up. He even bought me lunch.

Well, he arrived on time, but we did have one problem. He brought the slant load step-up, which our horse wanted no part of. He was patient and never ever got rough, even though it took quite a while to convince him he could step up into there. So I guess lesson learned, confirm trailer type when booking!
