    Default Yay! And crap!!

I have no clue what clicked, but SO decided to wear a helmet for the first time today!! I'm so thrilled. I had told him about the thread about the CA woman, and he voluntarily put a helmet on today. He also tried English for the first time! Unforunately, his horse was lame. The ONE time he tried English and actually protected his noggin! Luckily horse just has some swelling on his knee from playing too hard.

I thank God that I read the helmet threads to him! I know Shawnee acres had a bad fall at her barn too. Good reminder to wear your helmet every time!

Well done! And since his head didn't spontaneously combust, he will likely be more willing next ride too!

Men wearing helmets don't lose their man card. They get an extra bonus man card.

A respectful, polite, virtual kiss from ChocoMare to your SO for making the self-less decision!

    Congrats OP!!
Flip a coin. It's not what side lands that matters, but what side you were hoping for when the coin was still in the air.

You call it boxed wine. I call it carboardeaux.

At the moment, it's not yet accessible to the public, until Belg gives permission to use the quote.

I just sent a PM to Belg requesting permission.

There is an insurance company billboard in town that says "like sports that require helmets?" Each board has a different pic- heli-sking, motorcycles, etc.

Since riding does really does require helmets, shouldn't this make it more appealing to the manly man/adrenaline junkies?
