    Default Stripping a saddle

No, not as kinky as it sounds!

I was told to "strip" my saddle to make it less slick but I wasn't sure how exactly to do it and I felt stupid asking!

    It involves ammonia?

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I was told to use rubbing alcohol on a new saddle to strip any wax that was on the leather, never heard of ammonia.
