The Korean pulled that horse over with his vise-like death grip on the reins. Scary as crap.

I like this bay horse Wonder Boy, with the Ukrainian, who was all "hell no" as he almost dumped him in order to get him off his face.

That's an extraordinarily generous interpretation of what happened.

I had really hoped (as an ex-pentathlete) the standard would be better than the last Olympics. The horses may be better, the riding sadly not.

Holy crap, a 1.20m course with a bunch of beginners? And per these comments.. I'm not even sure I want to watch the replay. Why isn't this a .9m course.. that would make more sense..

I wonder if they could replace the riding phase with bowling? Very similar sport and you avoid the luck of the draw and the whole live animal thing.

Or better still, why don't they just LEARN TO RIDE!!
They obviously learn to do the other four sports that are part of the pentathlon.
It's crazy there is not some kind of minimum standard. There is in all of the other equestrian disciplines.
