Warning! Don't look at the pictures if you are sensitive. They are horrible. What the heck is wrong with people!

Horrible. Any update on the cats? I hope they go back and try to trap them, and not leave the cats to fend for themselves.....

I don't say this lightly. That woman should be spayed. And the man neutered.

That man and women should be locked away in a pen with no food or water or shelter until they die.

Totally agree! I can't believe they left a 6 week old baby with these people after the charges last year. What is wrong with our system?

they said neighbors complained to the authorities about the animals...clearly nothing was done until they heard about the child?

Ugh, I heard about that on the radio yesterday. Apparently, no one even knew about the baby.

officers seemed so appalled by the idea of baby in dog crate -- that is the one thing I think these weirdos may have done right after having multiple cases of family dogs attacking/killing small children in the last year or so

Thanks for the warning, I won't look then. I have no idea what is wrong with people.

Wow, I have rarely seen a skeletal horse like that!! I hope it gets proper re-feeding care so that it's organs don't shut down.

Yes, spay and neuter the PEOPLE!! and take the baby away! SICK!!!

What's wrong is that these people are drug addicts. They don't care about anything else but their drug fix. Thank god someone called animal control. Now they need to have the adults in this situation neutured and spayed.

will help with the baby-making but they need to be kept away from animals too

if those two want to live in a roach-infested hovel, fine - but leave children and animal alone

"Pending judicial disposition, the dogs and horses will be evaluated for placement. "

I hope that the evaluation will not be conducted by the Houston SPCA. They don't adopt out Pit Bulls - if they are dropped off, they are immediately euthed - and those dogs, even the little pups, look to be PB's.

To the best of my knowledge, BARC is the only large shelter in Houston that will accept and adopt out Pit Bulls.

It would suck to survive being starved to within an inch of your life, be "rescued" and then put down because of your breed.

ETA: I just called the Houston SPCA and left a message for their President. I'm pissed.
