I wonder what she would do if she ever found the horse. In her thread, she already proved herself a bit unhinged by claiming the actual owner of the colt had died when she did not and attacking people who told her, honestly, that she was SOL. I do hope the colt is in a safe place and he stays there for a good long time.
I feel sorry for whoever bought this horse. Having a person who is trying to challenge your ownership, along with a horse you legally own would be my nightmare. I wonder if the horse went to slaughter, or was bought by someone else? I guess we'll never know.
Well, I may need to rescind my initial conclusion. Apparently, from LConroe's facebook page: (http://www.facebook.com/lori.conroe) a post yesterday says that judgement was made in their favor (I take this with a grain of salt right now...). But, wouldn't that just be monetary or does that mean she actually has rights to pursue the horse?
I came across this when I was seeing if I could find anything from the court regarding the judgement. lconroe had actually listed the colt for sale prior to all this going down: http://www.freehorseads.com/class/te...orsename=Blaze (Ad #: 176942 - Placed or Renewed: 05/04/2012 5:03 pm) I'm surprised COTH sleuths didn't find that on the original thread. I do have to wonder if that was the cause of the fall out between her and the old lady...
Interesting Snowflake. I wouldn't be surprised if the ad was the trigger for the entire fall out. And I noticed that when others on FB asked what happens now, nothing was said.
After looking at the other thread my guess would be the magistrate ruled on the money owed, and nothing about the ownership of the horse. It sound like the horse is gone, and owned by someone else now.
