I have to admit--I'm still mad that I'm not British . I was in London for 10 days about 14 years ago and I would give most anything to go back (and stay!).

Mo Farah ran one hell of a race today! Very cool to watch him and his training partner Galen Rupp lock in during the last laps of the 10k.

I never thought I'd so enjoy watching a bunch of men run around a track 25 times.

The only thing better than how well so many of the British athletes are doing is the looks of absolute joy and pride on their faces at performing so well at home. The Heptathlon lady was so happy, and the entire crowd was behind her. I love how the other competitors congratulated her, and said they were happy for her.

Here's a hearty "well done" from me. I am enjoying that the host country is having a great showing.

I would also compliment your BBC reporters for the lovely commentary. It is such a refreshing change from Bob Costas and Ryan Seacrest on NBC (blech)!

It's amazing to see. A girl from the town I was born in competes in the boxing tomorrow. I'm really rooting for her. So if you have a few cheers to spare, can you direct them to Savannah Marshall?

Having been to two events (final of the ladies team gymnastics (U-S-A, U-S-A!) and day 2 of the Grand Prix dressage (Team GB, Team GB!)

I'm blown away by the organisation and attention to detail that has gone into these Olympics. Everywhere you look in London there is a banner or a flag or a photo or a statue with London 2012 on it. Every tube map and bus route and train station has Olympic signs showing you where to go and if you're still not sure there are thousands upon thousands of happy, smiling volunteers dressed in pink and purple (so you can't miss them) to assist you.

What are missing, thank goodness, are ticket touts. I've seen none at all. Spare tickets are resold through the official website which means normal people like you and me can snap up tickets at the last minute and get up ridiculously early the next day to go to the Olympics. I've managed to get 4 sets of tickets this way after only getting one in the original ballot. I'm taking my Mum to the table tennis tomorrow, she used to play and was really good at it. When I rang her at 8pm tonight to say "can you be up and ready to go out at 5am tomorrow? We're going to the Olympics!" she was so excited. Very late on Thursday night I got two GP dressage tickets and rang round my friends to find out who could drop everything and come with me to London at silly o'clock the following morning.

Its so exciting. I've never felt London so happy and friendly. Am I proud to be British right now? Oh yes, I am.

All my friends there (sadly for them still stuck working) have been shocked at how easy transport has been, and how friendly all the tourists are! It seems like attention to detail has been top notch, so well done olympic committee, transport for London, government, etc etc. And Mitt Romney can go and apologize for what he wrongly said during his pre Olympic visit.

I've had sooooo much fun watching these games, Eventing at Greenwich park was awesome, Rowing is my new favourite spectator sport, swimming always a blast (fun to spot my friends who are volunteering at the pool too!), athletics, and THE TENNIS!!!!!! GO ANDY MURRAY!!!!!!! :-D :-D :-D. I cheered very very loudly for him during the semis and missed the finals but was so thrilled to find out he has finally WON!!!! And what a win, 3 straight sets.

This is one of my favorite Olympic moments each time there are Olympics: when the home team wins.

You have every right to be proud and I am pulling for GBR to win as many medals as possible.

But isn't it spelled "British" (not "britsh")?

I was curious about Mitt Romney's remarks...actually, I thought they were obnoxious and stupid.

If there is one thing about England that I know, its their attention to detail and probably the country that organizes more public events than anywhere else with great attention to detail. So, hosting the Olympics is a huge deal, but the Brits have years of experience. In fact, when I studied in college in Arundel, Sussex, the Duke of Arundel had always been responsible for being the 'organizer' for all the Royalties events.

I am proud of our team USA, and of course very happy that the Brits are doing so well too. Congrats to all of you, you deserve it, and have done a super job. Hats off.

I'm so happy for the British Show Jumping team! Congratulations! I can't imagine the joy of a team medal after 52 years, and on the home court too. That was certainly a wonderful display of horsemanship, and thrilling to the last second.

All of you Brits should be proud, being on home turf seems to have inspired the athletes.

Having only recently moved back here after living in the States, I think today was a defining moment for me. A lot has changed in the past two decades and I suppose I've become Americanised in many ways... but my tears of joy and pride after the showjumping gold left me in no doubt of where my heart has always been, and always will be!

I don't even like or follow showjumping all that much, but I was blubbering here in my front room. God help me for the dressage tomorrow.
