I show my mare in the 3ft jumpers and we occasionally throw in the 2'6" - 2'9" hunters. She seems to be able to switch gears pretty well!

With my warmblood mare, she was originally trained to event. I am more of the hunter type and so was my aunt. We only did jumpers for fun at shows. She worked beautifully in both arenas. The only thing she really didn't excel at was being an eq horse but we didn't care; more our hunter horse than anything.
