I am so excited about my first CANTER cutie! I bought him yesterday off of the track at Fairmount (from Annette Ellis who was lovely to deal with and had too many nice looking/good personalities to choose from) and he is doing awesome even after the 5 hours it took to get home...
While I bought him primarily as a companion for my older broodie who I want to move home from the trainers and for light riding, I was curious if there was anything in his pedigree that would indicate jumping potential....just in case I decide he needs a more involved job than hanging out or trail riding in the future
Here are the worst pics known to mankind because David refuses to stand still long enough for me to figure out how to take pics one handed and I was the only one here to watch him today. I took some pics on the way to let him out in the front pasture....cant tell too much about conformation though unfortunately.
I probably won't be able to resist giving him a go after he lets down from the track for a couple months.
What about his pedigree screams jump to you? I have looked up all the big names by searching previous chrono posts but the names I recognize (and I know nothing about thoroughbred breeding) are so far back.
I am excited about my new guy and want to learn all I can about what his family might bring to the table!
