Default Odd behavior for mare-any ideas?

My Holsteiner mare has been exhibiting odd behavior lately. While usually she is laid back and super relaxing and easy to ride, she has started bucking-hard! She is obviously in some kind of pain and wants me off her back. She has bolted from the cross ties and run through the pasture to get to my gelding, and seems to constantly be in heat.
Her urine looks fine, and she is in good condition. She gets electrolytes and plenty of water, and her joints are still really good but I give her joint supplements as well.
Any ideas? I was thinking it may be something with her ovaries...has anyone had experiences with this?
Thanks in advance! I am taking her to a vet but would like to have some sort of idea for the meantime.

It could very well be hormonal. I would schedule an appt with a decent vet and have her checked out.

You might try posting this over in the Sporthorse Breeding section. It sounds hormonal to me, and they have experience with this sort of thing.
