    Default babies

At our barn we have 2 young foals, unfortunately one is a special needs child and cannot be turned out with the other one so he is lonely and needs a playmate. Can you put a 2-3 month old foal with a two year old?
    Thanks

I'm assuming the 2-3 month old is at his mother's side. If the mare has been accustomed to turnout with the 2 year old, it might be fine. If not, I fear the mare might be quite rough (protective) with the 2 year old, who might get hurt. A big field is important. Do not turn out mare and foal with others in a small enclosure.
