Default Getting rid of false dandelion (flatweed/cats ear) in pastures

What do we need to treat the pastures with to remove flatweed/cats ear/false dandelion?

We have it in the pastures and one of the horses started suddenly showing stringhalt on Saturday. All 3 horses in that pasture have hives.

Vet has been called, horses are off the pasture, now I need to figure out how to get rid of it!!

You'll have to read the labels to decide which one is best.
Don't expect good control if the plants have already bloomed. Best stage for control is rosette, early in the season. Guess you can be ready next spring, or try spraying again in the fall.

BTDT. It's called; "2 4 D". Tractor Supply carrys "Pasture Pro" along with a broadcast sprayer from Northern tool will fix you right up. 1 1/2 quart per acre in 25 gallons water applied ~4 mph from 4 wheeler/pickup/tractor........2 weeks and all you'll have is black spots vs. flatweed.

You'll have to stay on top of it, but in a couple years the weeds will lose...more or less.
