    Default Bug repellant

Anyone tried the type you clip on your belt (or could possibly clip to a halter)? Do they work, was it stinky?

THey work quite well and not stinky. I don't know about clipping one to a halter though - I doubt they would generate enough bug juice to cover a whole horse, nor would it stay on the halter. They are expensive, each refill good for 11 hours, and require a battery to operate the fan.
