Two cats needing indoor/outdoor or barn homes... very friendly! (Baltimore MD)
I've been swamped with foster kittens this summer and haven't had a chance to market these guys much, but they are DESPERATE to get back outside. I've previously posted Rudy:
He is still looking. He can be a bit, ahem, amorous with the ladies (apparently he doesn't realize his equipment is missing!) but isn't aggressive or anything, just playful. Rudy is very friendly and affectionate and loves to be held!
I also have Avery, a gorgeous orange tabby who is also very friendly, but is one of those cats who is easily overstimulated. He play bites, and will also grab your hand with his paws and bunny-kick you. (He would not be a good match for a home with young kids, as you need to be able to read his body language to know whether he's in a "pet me" mood, or a "RAWR! I will hunt and kill your hand!" mood. ) He's just too big of a personality to stay inside, and in fact he's been so unhappy that I started letting him back out... which I don't normally do, as this area isn't particularly safe for outdoor cats. (Cars, dogs, rotten humans, etc.) So I need to find him a home pretty quickly. Avery gets along well with other cats that he knows, but can be territorial if new cats come in... when he's out in the yard, he chases my resident feral kitty away.
I have a short video of Avery as well, where you can see him doing his normal "pet me"/"oh, hey, can I bite you?" routine. http://youtu.be/qZLlMYVGCi4 He has a lot of "cattitude" but really IS a friendly and affectionate guy!
Both cats are neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested negative, dewormed, etc. Both use the litter box just fine, so could also be indoor/outdoor house cats. They are young, Avery probably about 18 months and Rudy is maybe 2 or 3.
If they will be barn cats, they will need to be crated or otherwise contained for two weeks at their new home to get acclimated -- I can supply the crates if needed. They do NOT need to go together, and I can deliver anywhere within reasonable driving distance of Baltimore.
Bump... I am still looking for indoor/outdoor or barn homes for Avery and Rudy (together or separate). REALLY want to get them settled in their new home before it gets cold. Anyone need a couple of barn kitties?
STILL looking for barn home(s) for Avery and Rudy. They are really nice cats, very personable, like people! They just don't want to be indoors...
Please email me at eharty *at* gmail *dot* com if you can give one or both of them a great barn home. Neutered, vaccinated, tested, microchipped... and I'll deliver!
