Default Just did 2nd cut on 5 of our smaller fields ...

And the hay looks fabulous after an "iffy" coarse and stalky first cut

Still waiting to knock down the big fields out back until the alfalfa goes to flower but I am REALLY REALLY happy with what I am seeing in these smaller fields

Hay is going to be in such short supply here this year. I am getting notes in my mailbox asking if we have any hay to spare (we dont - I think we will be short as well and will probably need to supplement with bags of alfalfa cubes)

"0-10%" chance of rain forecast until the weekend, so *touch wood* we should be okay getting this all in

Hope it rains for you. Great that it is working out for you with what you have.
