Default Where can I find weird sized outdoor cushions?

I've got two pieces of furniture that need new cushions: A little cast-iron bench that sits by my tack room door and measures 12" x 18", and an ottoman that is 10 1/2" x 16". Apparently these are really odd sizes, because I can't seem to find a stock outdoor cushion for either!

Anyone know where I can buy these? I'm willing to spend about $30 apiece. I found on catalog that does custom measurements, but the prices were out. rage. ous. Like $100 per.

Look in the Yellow Pages (that's right the paper version where small business advertise) for a local upholstery shop. Depending on where you live, you can often get fabrics at discount stores. You are probably going to have to go custom and that is the cheapest way.

some fabric stores will help you make cushions. Tell them the dimensions and they will make them up. Calico Corners in my area does that. Maybe see if there's one in your area.

If you can't find what you want, you could make your own.

Pillowcases & foam inserts from someplace like Michael's.
Not weatherproof, but washable and cheap to replace.

OR you might find the weatherproof fabric and buy foam to fit.
If you don't sew maybe a friend who does could stitch up a case for you?

I have the same problem with a bench I have - long & narrower than what's on the shelves anywhere.
Right now it has no cushion but I'd sure like one!

I went to a cheap home goods place and bought cushions that were too big. Then I used scissors and a knife to cut them down to size. Measure before cutting. Finished it all off with Gorilla Tape on the sides and bottom, and had a perfect fit. I'm too cheap to buy custom anything (except for maybe a saddle) and I watch so much HGTV I'm dangerous.

They are not the cheapest but Ballard has tons of sizes and the quality is very good.

Get something like this and you can cut it into any size you want.
