Default Thankful for the Little Things

I'm thankful that today is DH's Friday off. If it were not, then I would possibly have had to stay home and watch kids or beg and plead with my mom to babysit. As DH is home, however, he is the one who gets to enjoy a trip to the ER with the little man to have marbles removed from his nose. Why does an 8-year old put marbles up his nose? I have no idea. But I am ever so thankful I'm not having to deal with it!

I'm thankful your kid is the one that did it and not mine! We were on first-name, frequent flyer status there for a while with the doctors and ER!

I'm thankful BoyBlueMoon finally got some sense of self-preservation.

I'm thankful for air conditioning and an office job today. It's HOT outside.

I'm sure Dad took it in stride...men don't wonder why boys do these things...they wonder "why not?"

I'm thankful only one horse refused to put his fly mask on this morning. Of course, it is the most 'broke' horse in the barn, my DD's QH. All the boarders, crazy as some of them can be, put their heads down for me to pop the mask on.

I'm also darn thankful my work outside is done until tonight, and I can hide in the dark living room to surf CoTH!

I'd be really thankful for some rain.

There's chocolate souffle on the menu tonight. With sour cherry sauce.

    Yeh gods, I am happy.

I'm thankful that early this morning my horse jumped like a champ. I'm also thankful that I have been able to get myself up early enough in the morning to avoid the heat.

I am so thankful for so many things. I am blessed that I have had the priviledge of having had 2 heart horses and 1 heart dog in my lifetime. And that one of the horses and the dog are with me and healthy.

I am thankful that both horses are sound at the same time.......*knocks on wood*

I am also thankful that my super heart horse seems to be settled in at his new barn and happy after just a few days.

Although I am not thankful that I have the flu therefore had to cancel my first lesson at my new barn and am stuck in the house
But on the other hand I have a great roommate that came home at lunch to take care of the dogs and bring me chicken noodle soup even though he is a vegetarian!!!!
