Customer Service UGH!!!
I'm done, done done done!!!! UGH!
Don't get me wrong, I like some parts of it. But lately?? Not so much. 15+ years in the restaurant biz and the past few in the cell phone industry have just about done me in LOL!! No more whiny irresponsible people who call and scream at my reps because they had their services shut off for the 5th time in the past year and got charged reconnect fees. No more idiot "parents" who allow 13 year olds to have smart phones but then act all offended about the $100 in porn downloads Little Johnny racked up. "But he's a child! I didn't do it, he did and he's not an adult! This is evil and unfair" they scream.
Now I get to provide excellent customer service to my braiding clients, I love that they can depend on me to be timely, polite, friendly, professional and make their horse look good
And I get to finish up my Accounting degree, job hunt the next few months for something related and not have to hear about how evil I am that I won't just send out a free iPhone to replace the one that Billy Bob dropped in the toilet. 'Cause, ya know, anything an adult breaks should be automatically replaced for freeeeeeeeee, right???
So over the entitlement attitude with a twist of Jerry Springer thing!

Really truly there are many, many nice people who need something fixed. I am happy to oblige. Not only is (was) it my job but it feels good to fix things, know what I mean?
It has just been so negative this year. I have (had) one of the best teams of reps in the country and trying to keep them motivated while having to spend 8-10 hours a day dealing with horse pucky has really gotten to me

It's like my friend in the insurance field. She has had so many bad people calling to try and collect on ancient things or get more money than they can, based on their policy, that she's ready to quit. She's so tired of it all she has forgotten how to depersonalize. She's starting to burn out and get defensive.
When that happens, you either need a very long vacation, or a new job!
