I can't seem to find a show coat that fits - I'm not exactly "well-endowed," so they're always too big in the shoulders and chest if I get one that fits my waist, but too small in the waist if I fit to my shoulders and chest. I'm debating whether to get a too-big coat tailored down, or just order custom. Anyone have advice? I realize tailoring can get expensive, hence the custom idea.

If I go either route (custom or tailored), can anyone recommend a tailor? I'm in the Midwest, and am around Chicago pretty frequently if there's someone there that has experience with show coats. Thanks!!
