Have you ever dreamed something that happens? Deja Vu, etc
A few times I'll have a moment where something is happening and it seems like it's occurred before. At least there is a weird, peculiar sense to what ever small detail is happening. I've heard you have deja vu when you're where you're supposed to be.
A few months ago I had a dream that one of the girls who had agreed to room with me had a fight/falling out over some roommate detail with me over the apartment. A week later we had a disagreement about the living arrangements, which resulted in a falling out. Between stuff hitting the fan I had told her about the dream, just in a vague way. I hope she is amused.
Anyways, last night something similar sort of happened, sort of spooky. Rather than feeling like I had already seen the situation, I felt myself telling someone in the future about the moment.
Anyways, maybe I am crazy, but I'm sure I'm not the only one with similar stories!

A couple years ago my family's older cat was sitting on the deck by the pool, like she had for the past 15 years. I got into the car and started it and thought i should go makr sure she didnt fall in the pool and was unable to get out. Like most cats, she hated water. I walked into the pool area and there she was dripping wet, with a trail of water following her from the edge of the pool. I know she definitely did not intend to go swimming.
Weird stuff like that happens from time to time.

Fourth of July some 30 years ago, about 2 in the afternoon, a good 100, out of the blue, I get the idea I need to go check in the plains with a fuzzy idea of checking a windmill, that I know was fine yesterday and has a large supply tank and overflow pond anyway, can be out a few days and nothing would go thirsty.
Try to talk myself out of it, but get too antsy and decide to go.
As I top the caprock and start down the road to the windmill, there is this bigger steer running down the barditch, so hot about to fall over and this huge tan mountain lion after him, bouncing around easily, not hot at all and taking swipes at the steer.
The steer has several 4" strips of hide hanging on his behind, a hole in front of his flank and another in front of his shoulder.
I drive up to them, the mountain lion takes off down the barditch and thru the pasture and I drive the steer to the pens to treat him and call the game warden to report it.
If I had not shown up, that steer would have been lion lunch in a bit longer.
Some times, the start align and all happens for the best, although the lion may not have thought so.
That steer was fine, but the hair never did grow back in those bare strips on his behind.

Dreams seem to come true for me more often than not.
1. I dreamt about my father's first house as a child - the colors, location, everything, and I was upset because they were tearing it down - told my parent the next morning - they were stunned - not only had I described the house perfectly, they learned through some phone calls it had just been torn down.
2. I dreamt my horse and I were in a swampy wooded area and something dangerous was back there - went trail riding for the first time the next day at a barn we had been at for two days. Guess what we found: a swampy area scattered with pine trees. I have no idea what did it, but my horse spun around and shot like a bat out of hell to get away!
3. Had a dream that I was in a car accident. Next day, at a stop light, some jerk rear-ended me.
4. Dreamt my sister was pregnant - got a call the next morning that she was expecting.
5. Dreamt I ran into an old friend - she called the next day.
I could go on, but I'm getting a bit creeped out typing this!
Horse sense is the thing a horse has which keeps it from betting on people.

Yes, happens to me a lot. Often it's only little things.
This happened about a month ago:
I dreamed that my family doctor suddenly decided to quit practising medicine. She is quite young- so unlikely. I remember being dismayed in my dream because it's so hard to find a doctor around here.
Two days later I get a letter in the mail. From the Medical clinic where my doctor works. I was mad before I even opened the letter. Thinking "are you kidding me?". Turned out that the letter was to inform me that my doctor was switching practices. Not quitting. I still have a doctor, thankfully.
I have to wonder though...somehow my subconscious picked up on my doctor doing something. I just didnt' get it quite right in my dream.

This happens to me all of the time, especially when I start thinking of people. Often I will start thinking of people that haven't been on my mind in awhile, and inevitably they call or email me soon after.

I think what's happened to me is slightly different.
I will visualize what is about to happen, and then it will happen within seconds. It's usually about really random things (someone handing me Chapstick, something falling out of the refrigerator). I don't THINK it will happen, I see EXACTLY how it will happen right before it actually does.
Hasn't happened to me in a few years though. Wish I could hone the skill and have it apply to lottery numbers.

I have deja va ALL. THE. TIME. Almost always very minor, random things, but it is always very weird when it happens. I have had a few dreams of things happening. Again, very minor. The latest one (Which I CAN NOT remember what it was ), was a little more startling, but nothing earth shattering (obviously). Just clearly remember saying "I DREAMED THIS!"
I think it is genetic, as my mom is like that as well, and will often say "I was just thinking about you" when someone calls her. She did that all the time with her sister. She would be thinking about her and have her on her mind, then she would call. I often know when my phone is about to ring or beep (I'll pick it up because I know it is about to go off). I often will know what song will come next on the radio (no one believes me with that one!).
I also see ghosts or spirits on occasion. I have seen my dad and my old dog (those two things always make me feel very safe. And when I dream about my dad, I wake up feeling very, very happy and protected, and will feel like I was just hugged by him ). I've seen old cats of mine, too. A few months ago I saw a white pony here in the barn. No one knows anything about it other than the fact that a horse told an animal communicator that he didn't like the white pony (the current owners have never had a white pony here!). I saw a white pony trot past me down the barn aisle I lived in a friendly, haunted house for a couple of years and routinely knew when June (the ghost) was hanging out with me. We "argued" over the thermostat, though, ALL the time (she liked it way warmer than me!).
I love this kind of stuff!

The radio thing happens to be a LOT. Of course, never when I want it to though!
In the past couple of weeks I've had two dreams about the same situation but with completely opposite outcomes - one great, one very sad. I sure hope the happy dream was the right one, but now I'm nervous.

i met with an old friend last month for the first time in five years.
i was shocked when i turned on her laptop and there was my screensaver!
then we went to a deli for some lunch and she came back to the truck with a bag full of food. we're driving along and she asks me to mix the chicken salad and coleslaw together so she could try it.
just on a pure whim, she saw it and decided it would be good.
i had to laugh as i had discovered that mix a few months after she moved and have been eating it ever since.

Literal dreams are rare for me and distinct from Jungian ones.
I really enjoy sorting out the interpretation of Jungian ones. My second wife said that I was the most intuitive person she ever met. About four different times. She said that I always knew what was going to happen. Well, yes, I pretty much did, but I attributed this to Myers-Briggs type intuition, since I'm an INTJ, pegging out the N and T.
Apparently there's more beyond that I kept denying, because the possibility of it didn't compute for me.
But I've begun to explore it.

Some of my dreams will come true.
Like this past year. I was really falling for this guy and we were kind of on/off. And I rarely make it to football games(too busy riding!!) but he wanted me to come so i agreed. Well about a week before I had a dream that we would end up sitting at this bench on the bluff overlooking the water(very random spot on campus for kids). But that the next day we wouldn't talk again for a long time. All of it was true. Didn't talk for a month after.
Same guy. Had a dream during the month we weren't talking that he told no matter what was going on in our lives he would always be there for me. I could tell him anything. Next day I did something I wasn't necessarily proud of(story for another day) and I knew he had been in the same situation and he texted me and we talked about it and made me feel a lot better.
A few days ago I was at the barn and I leave my phone in my tackbox while I ride. Went to check my messages and had a strange feeling that my ex had texted me, we are still good friends talk a lot usually but he has a new gf and we hadn't talked in a few weeks, and something wasn't right. Clicked my home button and there was his name and him telling me that he had broken his back.
Weird how things work.
