I just got a new boarder in. The horse is about 27+ years old, picky TB that needs constant companionship. The horse won't eat in his stall and wants to be next to my horses (who hate him). My suggestion to the owner was to get a hay/grain feeder for the horse and feed him outside along the fence line to where my horses hang out. She liked the idea and wants to get one of these : http://www.priefert.com/ProductDetai...ders-550/hfwhr
Anyway to find them cheaper or to make your own???
In "normal" parts of the world, you can buy these from other mfgers for less, or get them made a lot cheaper. Given you aren't exactly in the middle of livestock land, you might be stuck paying Priefert's price.
