I'm so sorry for your lose. Bullys are like potato chips that you don't get tired of
them. In this condition, it is advised not to give drinkable things.
You didn't mention that either feeding is normal and dog is taking it normally?

I can't believe how much better Lovey is today. I left her outside in the back yard for a few minutes as she was getting so bored inside. She followed me to the barn, then went out into the pasture while I was haying the horses. She actually ran some, wagging her tail the whole time. I made her slow down but, was she having fun!
She may not need physical therapy after all.
Still all bodily functions are very normal & she is playing with her kong toy.

    Yippee for Lovey!

So glad to hear things are looking up!

I join the rest of the good folks here, in hoping you know that these things happen, and not to beat yourself over the head about it, they do happen, no matter how careful you are.

I have learned from every accident I have had (and there have been many). They have made me more careful, but the old saying (accidents happen)is old for a reason..

So glad that your bully beast is a tough nut!

She is one tough nut, that's for sure! She was a tad slower tonight. Probably sore from the short run this morning. Still she seems much more like her old self.
Thanks again to everyone for the kind words. I still can't believe that I did that to her.

Just chiming in now but want to say first that you did not do this to her! You and she were both in the wrong place at the wrong time = accident waiting to happen and unfortunately it did.

What you did after the fact is what counts. Immediate veterinary care and great home care later. Sounds to me like everything will turn out fine in the end (thankfully). Lovey sounds like a wonderful, happy dog (and a very lucky one at that ).

Lots of continued jingles for her recovery.
