Video link added last page, please view. Tack and Horse Items needed
It's that time of year again that I ask the COTH community for support. Desperately seeking absolutely any type of horse related items to use at my Saddle Up for St. Jude trail ride which will be held September 29th this year. Prizes and silent auction items needed. It's been 1 and 1/2 years since losing my 11 year old niece to cancer and again want to do everything possible for the other families who may be going through the same hell my family suffered through. Great time to clean out your barn or tack room and support an absolutely terrific cause. Dust and dirt are welcome as well! Every donation is greatly appreciated and of course 100 percent tax deductable. Please look into your hearts and tack room to help fight childhood cancer!
Items may be sent to:
Tressa Flores
1295 Linwood Road
Watertown, TN 37184
Receipts will be mailed out upon arrival of donation.
Thank you COTHer's!

I am trying to get a box together of nice things to send again this year.
Just give me a few days. I have two items already and will try for a few more!

I am pretty certain I will be shipping the first box which is all new books today. I will send it media mail so it will be slow to arrive. I can't put any message in the box so you will have to note the return address and I will note the books in another parcel.
Those were donated by the great folks at our local Bridles and Breeches tack shop.
More to come!

I make handmade jewelry, and if you can give me a few weeks, I can donate some for you to sell.

I'm one of equislover's volunteers. I help her each year. Last year I was in touch with the professional photographer and she was going to "donate" some pictures of our ride and obstacle course competition so I could advertise the ride this year. Well, we went back and forth and I never did get the pics. I had also wanted to post a few here. Well, I do have a few crappy pics from my cell phone, so I'm posting those so at least you can see we're real people. I'm at the registration desk. Most of us that normally ride h/j tend to go western on these hills, so you do see a bunch of western saddles. ;-) But we love all donations, h/j, dressage, western items. All are greatly appreciated. This year I'll get pics of the silent auction which is the most fun. Lots of stiff competition for all the donated items. http://s740.photobucket.com/albums/x.../Saint%20Jude/ Thanks, all!

Bump, and putting a box of items together for the auction. I've been saving some good horse stuff that I knew would find a place at a fundraiser. Glad to contribute in a small way to a great cause.
