I would show Pinto if there were shows closer than Charleson, SC, we are in northeast Georgia. I always hear that they are a lot of fun.

We should make a facebook group or something called "Bring the PtHA to the South!"

    Let's do it TR!

I would be willing to work on it. I am just over an hour from you, we started showing at Kel-Mac this year. There are enough Pinto qualifiying horses there just about to have a show.

Well, if nothing else, you all could have a caravan coming to the Pinto World or the Pinto Congress in November

I really like how diversified the Pinto organization is ... we had our first half Arabian Pinto this year -- I'm really hoping her owner will show her ...

We'll have to meet up at Kel-Mac! My fiance and his nephew sometimes show at Kel-Mac and there are definitely a lot of Pintos out there. Did you go to the APHA show in Conyers in Feb?

Really? Because that's not what I have read.

From the Pinto Associations website (after listing all the acceptable outcross breeds):

PtHA can also register horse mares and geldings based on their color alone as well as any sex of ponies and minis.

The PtHA does not accept any horses with Appaloosa, draft or mule breeding and/or characteristics or known breeding within the previous four generations, except for utility classified horses.

Horse stallions cannot be registered unless both parents are registered with PtHA or a PtHA approved outcross breed. Ponies and miniature stallions can be registered with undocumented parentage.
From that I would say only stallions need to be registered. Anything else just needs to have enough white.
